Saturday

Hooray for Saturday!
Hooray for a weekend where I have no plans until 5:30 on Sunday night!
(I have a list of things to do about a mile long, but I'm trying not to think about that right now.)

Anyway. . . I read a book on the plane on the way home last week, History of Love by Nicole Krauss.

It is the story of a book and the many people it connects. It is also the story of a lonely, old man, Leo. He was my favorite part of the book.

"At the end, all that's left of you are your possessions. Perhaps that's why I've never been able to throw anything away. Perhaps that's why I hoarded the world: with the hope that when I died, the sum total of my things would suggest a life larger than the one I lived."
— Nicole Krauss

I love that book but it made me cry many times.
