Back to School

Today is back-to-school day around my house.

My mom always had plenty of back-to-school traditions:

• Institute "school" bed-time approximately one week before school started to "practice" going to bed on-time. Um, yeah, Mom. That was a very sneaky way to get a few extra hours for yourself each day.
• Supplies. I always had everything on my list packed neatly into my new backpack weeks before schools tarted.
• New outfit. Some kind of outfit that included a fashion trend for every single back-to-school.
• Bus stop picture. She followed us every year and took picture of us going back-to-school.
