Wednesday Procrastination

So, today is 'hump day.' The historian in me decided to look into Wednesday. That's what I do by the way...I teach history at a local U. Yep, besides being a scrapbooker, I'm quite the nerdy nerd.

But don't be too impressed...looking into Wednesday is just a front. What is really going on is Wednesday is keeping me from getting things ready for the post office and making the bed. Do you guys do that? Investigate something on Wikipedia because you were avoiding something that you really should be doing? I am the Queen of procrastination.

The part that interested me most is the idea that "Wednesday's child is full of woe." I've never heard that expression before.

Ooooh my goodness yes. I have mapped out an entire year of my daughter's activities, redesigned my house (with the help of lots of on-line research) and read enough on-line book reviews to actually have finished a book all to avoid making the grocery list.

I procrastinate like nobody's business. If it's work for school, I surf/clean/anything to avoid. If it's other stuff, I work to avoid it. :)
