Rainy Days - Thursday Thoughts

For the past few weeks, I have been thinking about this project - what are we doing it for? What are we getting out of it? What has it done to open up my brain? I am very curious about our readers, I know we get about 100 every day (and that is awesome). Instead of a quote today, tell me about yourself, why you are here, why you check in, has it helped? cheered you up on a bad day? Put you in a grumpy mood on a good day?

Share with us your thoughts!

Great idea, Ang.

I'm pretty sure we did this to make us think a little more. Plus, I'm always looking for a good project.

I know there's tons of people out there. Tell us about you!

I found you guys a few months ago the same way I find all the blogs I like...through other blogs. Links, to links, to links.
I love reading your site. Sometimes the thought for the day just doesn't strike me. Then other days it hits me like a hammer to the front of my forehead. Sorry I don't always post a response. But I do love what you do!

I have your site in my bloglines account so I can tell whenever you post something new. I read every post, and never leave comments at blogs, but want you to know you're appreciated, so you don't give it up. I love the quotes, and reading them forces me to spend some introspective time every day. Something I want to do, but in a busy life, I need something like this to help me take the time. Please keep it up-I really love the quotes and your comments to go with them.

I'm Roni from FL. I am a thinker - not in the 'profound' sense, but in the sense that I want to soak in everything around me. I am not a pessimist and I enjoy life. The quotes - and I write each of them in my calendar - open you to many things. I share them with friends, I write them down, I reflect on them...if only for a moment. I like that! It's my way to start the day! thanks for the fancy word for simple!!

I've not been consistent every day -- but I do catch up in spurts. :) I like it -- some quotes grab me, some do not, but I like seeing all the fabulous variety of responses.

Usually I blog my own thoughts, and then my friends respond to those, and that's very cool, seeing things getting filtered out into the rest of the universe!

Definitely keep it going!
