Get and Give

First things first—Thank you, Angie, for taking such good care of Fancy Word for Simple. Had a fabulous time on vacation. You can read all about it here.

Two of my favorite people—Angie and her husband, Mike—are celebrating their third wedding anniversary today. Angie and I have been friends for more than 10 years, and I’ve known Mike for most of those years, too. No matter what life deals them, Angie and Mike always seem to come out of it with their relationship stronger than ever. I love that my friend has found someone who makes her happy, supports her, and pushes her. And I love that I’ve made a great new friend in the process.

At some point today, raise your glasses to Angie and Mike.
