"The bed is a bundle of paradoxes: we go to it with reluctance, yet we quit it with regret; we make up our minds every night to leave it early, but we make up our bodies every morning to keep it late."
~Charles Caleb Colton

I'm an eight-hours a night kind of girl. Seriously. I need my sleep.

I haven't gone to bed before 11:30 p.m. or slept later than 5:20 a.m. yet this week. By about 2 p.m., I am ready to close my office door and turn off the lights to make it look like I'm not there just so I can curl up under my desk (using my jacket as pillow, of course!) and take a little nap. I've actually planned the next time I can sleep in (Sunday) and the next time I can go to bed early (Friday).

Just recently found your blog... I love this post. I'm and 8 hour girl myself. During my prep time while I was teaching third grade and pregnant, I would lock the classroom door, turn off the light and lay down on the floor to take a 20 minute rest because I was sooo tired!
